Affinity Federal Credit Union invites consumers to take advantage of their certificate of deposit special that earns 2.00% APY on a 2 year term and 2.75% APY for a 5 year term. The credit union also has their regular certiicate of deposit rates but they are not as competetive as the one that is on promotion.
Regular CD rates:
- 3 months 0.75% APY
- 6 months 0.95% APY
- 9 months 1.05% APY
- 12 months 1.10% APY
- 30 months w/ Bump up option 1.60% APY
Affinity Federal Credit Union requires a minimum deposit of $500. In case you decide to withdraw before the maturity date, expect that there will be penalties applied. Take note that the interest rates of this money in the bank real may change without prior notice.
Becoming a member of Affinity Credit Union is easy, you just need to join the association or club which is affiliated with them. A complete list of associations and clubs are available on their membeship page. Once you are a member, your family is also eligible to join. You will be required to put in $5 into a share savings account when you join.
