The best interest rates for certificates of deposit offerings have been falling in the past few months. The top cd rates with Digital Credit Union though remain to be very competitive. The Jumbo CD rates with this credit requires a minimum deposit of only $25,000 compared to other institutions which require around $90K to $100K.

The best cd rates are the following:

3.01% APY 60 months

2.01% APY 36 to 47 months

1.51% APY 12 to 23 months add-on certificate of deposit

1.35% APY 6 month add-on certificate of deposit

1.01% APY 3 to 5 months add on certificate of deposit

The above interest rates require a Relationship Checking account for the high interest CD deals. If you do not get the checkign account, the interest rate for this money in the bank opportunity drops by 0.25%.

The early withdrawal penalty for these certificates will be as much as 180 days of earnings for CDs with terms of 36 to 60 months.
