Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union offers some enticing interest rates for their long term certificates of deposit. Although we do not recommend to go very long on certificate of deposit at the moment, their top cd rates might just be good enough to convince people.

The credit union has the highest interest rates for their medium to long-term money in the bank CD deals:

7 year Certificate of Deposit

3.30% APY $1,000 to $4,999

3.35% APY $5,000 to $19,999

3.40% APY $20,000 to $74,999

3.45% APY $75K and over

6 year Certificate of Deposit

2.99% APY $1,000 to $4,999

3.04% APY $5,000 to $19,999

3.09% APY $20,000 to $74,999

3.14% APY $75K and over

5 year Certificate of Deposit

2.68% APY $1,000 to $4,999

2.73% APY $5,000 to $19,999

2.78% APY $20,000 to $74,999

2.84% APY $75K and over

4 year Certificate of Deposit

2.17% APY $1,000 to $4,999

2.22% APY $5,000 to $19,999

2.27% APY $20,000 to $74,999

2.32% APY $75K and over

3 year Certificate of Deposit

The early withdrawal penalty for the 7 year CD is 420 days of earnings. The six year CD will cost you 360 days of earnings. 5 years – 300 days; 4 years – 240 days; and 3 years – 180 days.

The minimum amount to open the account is just $1,000. If you are not yet a member of the Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, you can sign up online.
